Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and operational support for maintenance processes and systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using the SAP computerized maintenance management system.
- Work with relevant departments to define work scope, develop precise plans, coordinate material logistics, and align scheduling with resource availability.
- Evaluate and rank maintenance work requests in coordination with team members.
- Develop and maintain standardized job templates for recurring tasks.
- Develop and maintain accurate equipment bills of materials for all assets.
- Maintain correct work order statuses according to the defined work order lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between maintenance and operations teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
- Assess work requests for completeness and accuracy, including scope clarity, realistic timelines, lead times, correct equipment IDs, charge codes, and authorizations; consult with request originators as needed.
- Engage in planning and scheduling meetings with operations to confirm work priorities, optimal maintenance windows, and required lead times.
- Enhance job estimates and maintenance workflows through feedback from supervisors, engineers, and planners.
- Generate, maintain, and distribute backlog summaries and required performance reports and KPIs.
- Produce a weekly maintenance schedule and a rolling four-week plan.
- Develop and continuously update maintenance programs, schedules, and equipment parts lists.
- Organize and manage scheduling for external maintenance contractors.
