Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed site safety plans using CAD software, ensuring compliance with OSHA codes, NYC DOB site safety rules, and other relevant safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors
- Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety
- Develop and distribute safety communications, including safety bulletins and alerts
- Stay updated with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and ensure all site activities adhere to safety standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding site safety and compliance
