Banco Pan is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to act as the ultimate technical level within the operations structure, focusing on critical Banking and Payments environments. You will provide technical leadership for the team in War Rooms, propose and implement solutions to evolve the environment, and be a reference for reliability, observability, and SRE best practices.
What You'll Do
- Act as Tech Lead for the SRE team, serving as a technical reference in critical and regulated environments.
- Direct the team during War Rooms, ensuring agility, assertiveness, and replication of changes in pipelines.
- Propose, design, conduct, and implement technical solutions for highly critical environments, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Lead initiatives for modernizing and automating infrastructure in cloud (AWS) and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Define and maintain technical standards for observability, reliability, and governance.
- Actively participate in technical prioritization with management, presenting risks, alternatives, and action plans.
- Support the technical development of the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Act as the technical focal point for audits, critical incidents, and strategic projects.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and GitOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience in regulated and highly critical environments (e.g., financial sector).
- Proven experience in designing, conducting, and implementing complex technical projects.
- Ability to act in crisis scenarios with a technical and strategic posture.
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Vault, Kyverno, Sealed Secrets.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices, cloud security, and governance automation.
- Experience with OpenShift environments and migration to AWS.
- Experience with microservices architecture and continuous integration.
