About the Role
This position is responsible for ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability by applying engineering principles to operations. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain tools and processes that improve service availability and response efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents promptly
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operations
- Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with development teams on service design
- Implement and manage configuration management tools
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Track and analyze system metrics and logs
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and action plans
- Optimize system reliability and reduce technical debt
- Ensure infrastructure meets security standards
- Participate in on-call rotation schedules
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Assist in capacity planning and resource forecasting
- Troubleshoot network and service connectivity issues
- Manage cloud infrastructure services
- Enforce consistent deployment practices
- Improve system uptime and reduce incident frequency
- Evaluate new tools for operations efficiency
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing
