Capgemini is looking for an SFCC Frontend Developer to craft scalable, user-centric eCommerce experiences on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to translate creative concepts into responsive, high-performing storefronts.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance front-end features within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, using SFRA or SiteGenesis frameworks.
- Convert UI/UX wireframes and designs into pixel-perfect, responsive storefront components.
- Implement reusable templates, ISML components, and JavaScript modules aligned with SFCC best practices.
- Integrate third-party services, tags, and analytics scripts while maintaining performance standards.
- Optimize page performance, accessibility, and SEO for an improved customer experience.
- Troubleshoot front-end issues, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA / SiteGenesis) – including ISML, controllers, pipelines, and cartridges.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) with the ability to create clean, maintainable, and responsive UI.
- Experience with AJAX, jQuery, and front-end performance optimization.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows, comfortable in collaborative DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns within SFCC.
