EY is hiring a ServiceNow Developer for a Senior Consultant role. You will work directly with client stakeholders on software application development, serving as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow implementation and process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Act as the functional and technical expert on ServiceNow-based projects.
- Work on designs, code reviews, best practices, and solution advice for ServiceNow projects.
- Design and implement complex solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Configure and implement custom applications and modules.
- Participate in workshops to assess current processes and establish future-state processes.
- Provide oversight and unit testing of code developed by partner or customer employees.
- Advise customers on using ServiceNow Platform capabilities to improve business processes.
- Guide customers in completing required technical documentation.
- Maintain skills and certifications on CSM, FSM, and/or Industry product offerings.
- Align closely with peers to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and on scope.
- Support teams in other domains to satisfy integration needs.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software development.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of ServiceNow implementation experience in complex environments.
- A minimum of 4+ years of technology experience, including development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems.
- Proficient in all phases of the Application Development lifecycle with experience in an agile environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% OR ability to work outside of local time zone.
- Industry domain expertise in Telecommunications, Banking/Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Government, Field Services, Procurement, or similar.
- Proven success driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
- Experience working collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, applications, and modules.
- Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and other tools or systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.
- Strong written and verbal client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Experience in preparing and delivering oral presentations.
- An interest in staying abreast of business and industry trends as it relates to ServiceNow.
- A forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on and adapts quickly to new challenges.
- A strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease, and a high degree of professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of the overall ServiceNow roadmap and experience with assisting clients to understand their options.
- Familiarity with IT service management, the ITIL framework, and the ServiceNow platform.

- ServiceNow certifications.
- Experience with Knowledge Base platforms, ideally the ServiceNow Knowledge Management application.
