The University of Toronto is seeking a Service Worker - Grounds for a summer casual position. Under general supervision, you will assist our full-time staff in performing various maintenance functions to keep our St. George campus grounds looking their best.
What You'll Do
- Trim, cut, and water grass, shrubs, and flowers
- Rake leaves and lay sod
- Prepare ground for planting
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Work on campus cleaning details
- Perform all assigned maintenance and cleaning duties
- May operate landscape equipment, vehicles, and trucks
What We're Looking For
- Completion of grade 12 or equivalent
- Physical ability to perform laborious outdoor work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Willingness to work outdoors under all weather conditions
Nice to Have
- Related work experience
- Ontario Full 'G' Class Drivers Licence
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour

This position is onsite at our St. George (Downtown Toronto) campus.
