SKELAR is hiring a Service Operations Engineer to join the TENTENS Tech team. You will monitor and maintain the technical systems for streaming and social discovery platforms used by millions globally. This involves ensuring the reliability of live systems continuously developed by over 10 teams.

What You'll Do

Monitor company technical systems in live mode.
Identify and escalate incidents affecting user experience and business metrics.
Collaborate on case resolution with specialists from engineering guilds, support teams, and C-level staff.
Find efficient ways to quickly categorize and prioritize user-reported errors.
Develop a branched, multi-level monitoring system.
Perform 24/7 system monitoring.
Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
Troubleshoot and escalate incidents.
Reproduce bugs and report them.
Assist support with technical questions.
Extract information from databases.

What We're Looking For

Analytical thinking and ability to convey complex information simply.
Strong communication skills.
Basic knowledge of computer networks, including understanding the TCP/IP model and how a user gets a response to their request.
Basic knowledge of Linux, including working with the command line and basic problem identification.
Basic knowledge of SQL for writing SELECT queries.

Nice to Have

Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, etc.
Experience with bug tracking systems like YouTrack, Jira, etc.
