EY is seeking a Service Designer to join our Business Consulting – Customer Transformation Team. In this role, you will translate client insights into human-centred digital products and services, leading a team and managing the end-to-end design and implementation of holistic service experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of service designers.
- Develop comprehensive customer strategies and conceptualise innovative product and service solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end design and implementation of services and products.
- Design customer interactions across the service journey and ensure seamless experiences across digital touchpoints.
- Optimise both front and back-office operations.
- Utilise human-centred design to identify pain points, co-design service solutions, and visualise experiences through journey maps and prototypes.
- Collect and prioritise user needs and research-based insights to translate requirements into solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation and co-design solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Articulate complex ideas through storytelling and facilitate client workshops.
- Develop strategies for business growth and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Advocate for user-centric approaches with stakeholders.
- For Senior Manager level: Lead cross-functional teams, provide coaching and mentorship, and manage project budgets, roadmaps, and risks.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in Service Design.
- A degree in Design, Business, Computer Science, UX Design, Service Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience of working with or delivering for external clients.
- Strong skills in conducting research and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Proficiency in prototyping and design tools such as Figma and Miro.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving priorities.
- For Manager level: Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, particularly in agile delivery environments.
