Responsibilities
- Maintain and update configuration management databases

- Support change advisory board processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to validate configuration data
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Conduct regular audits of configuration items
- Assist in onboarding new services into configuration systems

- Track configuration lifecycle stages
- Enforce configuration management policies
- Support incident and problem management with configuration data
- Participate in service transition activities
- Maintain relationships with technical owners of configuration items
- Document configuration baselines
- Support compliance and governance requirements
- Improve configuration processes through feedback
- Use automation tools for data validation
- Ensure integration between monitoring and configuration systems
- Assist in tool upgrades and data migrations
- Provide configuration training to team members
- Maintain version control for configuration records
- Support disaster recovery planning with accurate data
