Responsibilities
- Produce refined and visually striking visual effects for character abilities, enemy encounters, combat responses, and in-game feedback systems
- Design and execute dynamic effects for progression milestones, unlock events, in-app purchases, and interface notifications
- Implement effects directly within Unity, working alongside engineers to refine tools and optimize VFX pipelines
- Partner with art leadership to shape the evolution of the game's visual effects language and elevate overall aesthetic standards
- Support continuous visual improvement across gameplay, user interface, and presentation elements
- Develop effects that enhance clarity, timing, responsiveness, and player engagement during gameplay
- Engage in regular feedback sessions and iterative development to maintain high-quality standards across the project
Responsibilities
- Create impactful and polished gameplay VFX for heroes, bosses, abilities, combat interactions, and gameplay feedback systems
- Design and implement high-impact effects for reward moments, progression systems, hero unlocks/upgrades, store interactions, and pop-ups
- Work directly inside Unity to implement effects, collaborate with developers, and contribute to improving VFX workflows and pipelines
- Collaborate closely with Art Direction to help evolve the game’s VFX style and overall visual quality
- Contribute to the ongoing visual evolution of the game across gameplay, UI/UX, and presentation polish
- Create effects that improve gameplay readability, impact, pacing, responsiveness, and overall player immersion
- Participate actively in collaborative reviews and iteration cycles to continuously raise the quality bar across the project
