Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to lead discovery, design, and delivery of internal tools used by operations, wholesale, and other teams.
- Partner with product and engineering to define problem areas and guide solution strategies, shaping priorities instead of following fixed requirements.
- Influence roadmap planning by aligning business goals and company vision with user needs, operational limits, and long-term system sustainability.
- Develop data-driven designs that enhance value for internal users and the organization, informed by direct user feedback.
- Lead user engagement efforts, conducting rapid validation methods like usability tests and feedback sessions to enable fast, confident iterations.
- Design and refine complex workflows and system interactions, emphasizing clarity, efficiency, and reliability in data-intensive, role-specific environments.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-fidelity implementation, discussing feasibility, system boundaries, and maintainable solutions.
- Mentor fellow designers to improve the overall quality, consistency, and effectiveness of UX across internal products.
- Promote structured problem-solving and practical decision-making, bringing clarity to uncertain situations and advancing scalable, logical design outcomes.
- Help maintain and evolve the design system to support consistency and long-term product scalability.
- Build reusable design components and patterns, enhance documentation, and refine workflows between design and development for faster, more reliable delivery and future automation potential.
