Splash, Inc. is looking for a Senior TypeScript Engineer to join our games team. This full-time, full-stack role focuses on building and extending our microservices platform that powers web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of back-end systems in our cloud environment.

What You'll Do

Build and extend our microservices platform.
Empower mobile engineers and wire up React screens for the APIs you’ve built.
Design systems to meet user needs and business goals.
Work occasional evenings related to major sporting events.
Work with the latest AI tools and technologies to push developer and team efficiency.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience developing API-driven applications at scale.
A computer science degree or equivalent practical experience.
Mastery of NodeJS leveraging TypeScript.
Strong experience working with ReactJS and relevant frameworks.
Deep understanding of relational databases and proficiency with SQL.
Experience building scalable applications in a cloud environment.
Mastery of automated testing, Git version control, and other software development tools.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Ability to work efficiently, both independently and in small teams.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic who approaches challenges with enthusiasm.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to methodically dissect unfamiliar systems.
Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.
Thrive in a startup environment—core hours are required.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AWS and underlying services.
