Smartkündigen OHG is looking for a Senior Trading Operations Expert (f/m/x) to play a key role in driving the energy transition. You will optimize flexible assets, particularly battery storage systems, in European power markets to deliver operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead the onboarding of new flexibility assets, especially battery storage systems.
- Support customers and partners to integrate, prequalify, and on-board assets for ancillary services and cross-market optimization.
- Optimize and automate operational processes.
- Understand grid operator requirements for nomination formats and deadlines.
- Ensure power flows correctly and all after-trade processes function.
- Lead the registration process and technical setup in new markets.
- Coordinate with internal communities (asset optimization, IT, finance) to create the best customer experience.
- Discover and eliminate operational risk.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar operational role within short-term power markets.
- You value excellent team spirit, start-up culture, and creative freedom.
- A background in business, IT, natural sciences, or a similar field.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Decisiveness and the ability to use your own initiative to solve operational problems.
- Fluency in English.
- A detail-oriented, structured way of working, coupled with a hands-on mentality.
- Curiosity and a good sense of humor.
Nice to Have
- Some coding experience.
- German or other language skills.
