ALTEN is looking for a Senior Test / Functional QA Technician to join our team in an ecosystem of excellence. You will be responsible for automating functional and BDD tests, designing and executing manual test campaigns, validating APIs, and managing versioning and CI/CD processes.

What You'll Do

Automate functional and BDD tests using Gherkin, Selenium/Java, and Cucumber.
Design, execute, and maintain structured manual test campaigns.
Validate APIs and application flows with Postman, including creating tests, collections, and automation.
Manage versioning, continuous integration, and collaboration via GitLab.
Write clear and actionable test scenarios to ensure product quality.

What We're Looking For

A Bac+5 degree in engineering school or university equivalent with a specialization in computer science, or significant equivalent experience.
7+ years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Proven experience in functional test automation with Gherkin, Selenium/Java, and Cucumber.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in French for effective business interactions.
An analytical mindset and a drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to evaluate code and its impacts and question existing solutions.
The ability to step back, evaluate problems objectively, and propose improvement solutions.
A commitment to meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve common goals.
An advanced level in Java with over 7 years of experience specifically in test automation.
