Wavestone Germany AG is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d) - Quality Architecture & CI/CD (Ref.Nr.: 46103). You will join a long-term project at a client in Bern & Zürich, focusing on building and maintaining robust test frameworks and ensuring quality within the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Create and manage test cases and scenarios to ensure adequate requirement coverage.
- Participate in testing current and future products across various test levels.
- Coordinate test activities with other teams within the agile release train (ART).
- Execute test cases, document deviations, and manage defects.
- Evaluate and document test results for quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with development teams for continuous quality improvement.
- Assist in clarifying business, technical, and architectural requirements.
- Develop new and extend existing test automation solutions from frontend to backend.
- Adapt and extend releasing and deployment processes within development teams.
- Advise on the operation and monitoring of applications in the production environment.
- Ensure stability and robustness within the CI/CD chain through appropriate measures.
- Enable the team in test automation using methods like TDD, ATDD, and BDD.
What We're Looking For
- 6 years of practical experience as a Test Analyst, Test Manager, or Test Engineer.
- 5 years of experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong knowledge of test design and test automation.
- Solid experience in end-to-end testing and coordinating business acceptance tests.
- Expertise in methods for test case identification and creation.
- Long-term experience working in Scrum, Kanban, or comparable agile methods.
- Quick comprehension combined with high customer and quality orientation.
- Openness to new things, independence, and self-responsible action.
- Negotiation-secure German and English skills.
Nice to Have
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of Spring, JUnit, Maven, Git, and SQL.
- Proficient with test automation tools like Jmeter, Eggplant, Tosca (ECT), Selenium, Postman, and ReadyAPI.
- Experience with agile development methods according to SAFe at team level.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Several years of experience with JIRA, SolMan, Confluence, MS Teams, MIRO, SolMan Testsuite, Tricentis Tosca, and Xray-for-Jira.
