ecosio is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to take ownership of our test infrastructure and ensure product quality. You will be embedded directly within a product team, collaborating with developers to build robust systems and supporting our CI/CD processes.
What You'll Do
- Continuously evolve and improve the test infrastructure
- Work directly in the product team
- Develop and maintain quality assurance infrastructure for back end using JUnit 5, Spring, and Kubernetes
- Take part in chaos testing and performance testing
- Actively collaborate with developers to build requirements from a testability perspective
- Identify defects, report them to the development team, and accompany them to prepare production deployments
- Take over and monitor software releases and regression testing during development
- Develop and execute requirements for test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios and implement these together with the team
- Monitor test suites and coordinate actions to update tests and fix regressions
- Support the team with CI/CD using GitLab, Maven, and Docker
What We're Looking For
- Profound Java knowledge
- Professional experience in the Quality Assurance field
- Solid knowledge of automated and manual testing using frameworks such as JUnit 5, Selenium, and Cypress
- API and UI testing framework experience
- Good command of written and spoken technical English
Nice to Have
- A running or completed IT education (HTL, FH, or university)
- Experience with Kubernetes or GitLab
- Experience in security testing
