Netcompany is looking for a Senior System Administrator responsible for investigating, diagnosing, and solving system problems while maintaining our data center hardware and software infrastructure. You will join a team of 600+ tech enthusiasts in Belgium, working primarily within the European Institutions market, to ensure the integrity and security of critical systems.
What You'll Do
- Investigate, diagnose, and solve system-related problems.
- Install and upgrade infrastructure software, including monitoring solutions, and perform test upgrades.
- Install, maintain, and support the organization's Data centre hardware infrastructure (Servers, enclosure, UPS, patch panel, tape library, cabling, etc.).
- Schedule installation work to minimize disruption.
- Monitor, diagnose, and solve hardware or software problems.
- Comply with organizational procedures to ensure integrity and security of the system.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Data centre hardware infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux server operating systems.
- In-depth knowledge of hypervisor solutions (VMWare/Hyper-V).
- In-depth knowledge of network storage (SAN/NAS, NetApp/EMC).
- In-depth knowledge of central backup.
- Experience with racking, cabling, and connecting hardware in data centres.
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting and ability to work independently.

- MCSE/MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or above
- Microsoft Azure administrator
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) or above
- Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 or above
