Webflow is looking for a Senior Staff Data Scientist to inform the future of our platform by building a deep understanding of how customers use the product. You'll partner with key stakeholders to identify business questions and provide data analysis to answer them, leading KPI development and helping teams improve the user experience.

What You'll Do

Define and lead Webflow’s long-term data strategy, ensuring insights influence company-wide priorities and executive decision-making.
Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and User Research to prioritize opportunities where data can unlock improvements.
Establish, standardize, and continuously refine product and business metrics that represent Webflow’s success and customer value creation.
Lead Webflow’s experimentation strategy by mentoring teams on experimental design, causal inference, and Bayesian modeling approaches.
Serve as a technical and strategic mentor to Data Scientists across levels, providing guidance on analytical rigor, experimentation, and storytelling with data.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and platform teams to strengthen Webflow’s data foundations and ensure scalable, high-quality systems.

What We're Looking For

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in a Data Science or similar position
Demonstrated experience contributing to a strategic roadmap, providing high-quality, reproducible analysis that impacts company strategy
Expertise in applied statistics, segmentation, and experimentation in an industry setting
Proficiency in SQL and experience with a programming language like Python or R
Ability to explain statistical concepts to technical and non-technical team members
Curiosity about diving into the nuances of business and product data
Thrive collaborating with product teams in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, solving complex problems

Nice to Have

Interest and experience in mentoring and developing the technical skills of team members, helping to build a collaborative data science practice
