OPG is hiring a Senior Solution Configurator

Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, and modifies financial and related applications to support changing business needs, ensuring data accuracy and efficient reporting structures.
  • Monitors live system operations and reports daily, quickly detecting, analyzing, and fixing job failures or performance problems to reduce operational impact.
  • Uses strong communication abilities to collaborate with remote teams on resolving MV90 issues, including network-related hardware communication faults.
  • Leads the planning, deployment, and refinement of enterprise application configurations, aligning solutions with strategic goals and technical standards.
  • Manages testing, system integration, test planning, and validation of configuration changes across platforms.
  • Delivers advanced troubleshooting and technical support for enterprise systems, conducting root cause investigations and recording fixes and implementation plans.
  • Supports project teams by performing technical evaluations and risk analysis, offering expert guidance to project and product leads for informed decisions.
  • Leads system updates, patches, and enhancements to improve efficiency; defines test approaches, schedules, and action plans while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Assists with audit requirements and ensures adherence to corporate IT policies, financial regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Monitors and configures connections with external systems such as SAP ECC/S4HANA and may include integration with Azure Datalake.
