The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join its Manufacturing & Quality team in India. You will play a key role in defining Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) implementation and integration solutions, providing technical leadership, and managing technical risks across the manufacturing and quality portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Lead activities to define requirements, design, and verify robust architecture, data, and information management systems.
- Build the architectural runway, develop enablers, and maintain architectures for MOM agile implementation programs.
- Define application rationalization approaches and build architectural roadmaps.
- Assess the feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives, performing trade-off analyses.
- Design integration solutions using SOA and/or Enterprise Guidelines, preparing required documentation and executing integrations.
- Manage all communication with IT and business stakeholders.
- Maintain an efficient technical environment, document architectural plans, and provide support to businesses.
- Evaluate products for suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
- Draft data and information management product and service standards.
- Analyze requirements and maintain all architecture business system documentation.
- Maintain and document service contracts (ICD) to promote optimal communication.
- Orchestrate solution implementation between multiple teams from inception to Go-Live.
- Coach and mentor others.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Designated expertise and hands-on experience in IT Solution architecture using MES tools.
- Experience in the implementation and rollout of various Apriso MES modules and Opscenter MES.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and functional expertise in providing Manufacturing IT solutions for Automotive or Aerospace companies.
- Excellent knowledge of business operations, policies, practices, and the competitive marketplace.
- Excellent working experience in MES/MOM integrations with shop floor systems like historians, PLC, and machines.
- Knowledge about ISA 95 and experience in various MOM functions and integration standards.
- Good knowledge of shop order execution, kitting management, quality, and other manufacturing modules.
- Good knowledge of architecture documentation standards and tools like Cameo.
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps implementation for MES applications.
- Understanding and experience of working in SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Experience architecting .NET/Java MES/MOM /Manufacturing Quality IT systems.
- Experience in the design and development of integrations with ERP, APRISO, MES, and legacy applications using SOA, web services, and APIs.
- Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships within a system.
- Knowledge of Restful-API, Kafka, IBM-Fuse, Messaging Queue, Cloud (PCF/Azure/AWS), Gateway (API-C), JWT, Multi-Threading, Load balancer, .Net Core, ADO, CI/CD, TFS, Git.
- Experience in customizing or extending industry-standard message or data models.
- Knowledge of PLM/3DX/Delmia platform implementation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based architecture and deployment methodology.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Aerospace and Engineering Domain is preferred.
- Understanding of production scheduling implementation using Quintiq/Ortems or other planning tools is an added advantage.
