League is hiring a Senior Software Security Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain custom internal security tools used across engineering teams
  • Develop automated systems to enhance application security, secrets handling, identity management, and secure software delivery
  • Build security tools that integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines and internal engineering platforms
  • Create scalable solutions for detecting vulnerabilities, automating remediation, enforcing policies, and collecting security telemetry
  • Write secure, production-grade code for backend services, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Develop security services and APIs supporting authentication, authorization, secrets management, and access governance
  • Implement tooling for OAuth/OIDC, token lifecycle, role-based access control, service authentication, and secure sessions
  • Advance secure-by-default practices throughout the platform ecosystem
  • Automate security controls across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments
  • Develop systems for infrastructure security, workload identity, encryption, and runtime protection
  • Collaborate with platform teams to strengthen container and Kubernetes security and harden infrastructure
  • Enhance monitoring and observability for security events, anomalies, and operational risks
  • Build security capabilities supporting AI-native development workflows and AI-driven healthcare applications
  • Evaluate emerging AI-assisted security tools to improve engineering productivity and platform protection
  • Design secure workflows and controls for AI-enabled systems and sensitive healthcare data
  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, platform, compliance, and product engineering teams to promote secure development
  • Translate security principles into practical engineering solutions that improve developer experience and efficiency
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation activities as needed
