NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - XR to help shape the future of XR and Robotics. In this role, you will focus on teleoperation and data collection for robotics using spatial computing technologies, applying your system and AI knowledge to scale NVIDIA's efforts in this space.
What You'll Do
- Develop human-centric data collection systems for training robotic foundation models using XR devices and peripherals.
- Develop teleoperation systems for robots using XR devices and peripherals.
- Engage in cross-platform development in C++ and Python.
- Dive into the core technologies behind CloudXR, Omniverse, and the NVIDIA Isaac platform, exploring ways to optimize performance, reduce latency, and enhance teleoperation and data collection efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in C++ and Python.
- 5+ years of XR or Robotics related experience.
- Practical experience solving real-world problems with at least one of: robotics, AI, distributed systems, media streaming, or networking.
- Experience working in large-scale code bases and projects.
- A phenomenal team player and collaborator.
Nice to Have
- Experience with tele-operation and data collection for robotics.
- Experience with XR development: augmented reality, virtual reality, or spatial computing in any form factor (glasses, headsets, smartphones).
- Background in GPU, frame-rate, and latency optimization.

- Compensation ranges: $148,000 - $235,750 USD for Level 3, and $184,000 - $287,500 USD for Level 4, plus equity.
