Dev.Pro is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to contribute to a greenfield, AI-powered tool designed to automate unit test generation and improve code coverage across diverse codebases. You will design and develop features, integrate with existing repositories, and collaborate within a high-autonomy, senior-level team.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop new features for an AI-driven tool that automates unit test generation across multiple languages and environments (Java, .NET, Python).
- Integrate the tool with existing code repositories and diverse technology stacks.
- Contribute to planning, development, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and priorities.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Python development experience, with a focus on building backend tools and automation systems.
- Practical experience with AI/ML tools, frameworks, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and core principles.
- Knowledge of software testing concepts and unit testing best practices.
- Cross-language testing expertise with unit testing frameworks across Java/JavaScript/.NET/Python ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Kanban workflows.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, and repository integration.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing with Java, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Familiarity with LLM application frameworks like LangChain.
- Skills in code generation, analysis, and indexing techniques.
