Shape the backbone of a high-impact mobile platform used by restaurant brands across North America. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take full ownership of the systems that deliver mobile applications to production—focusing on automation, reliability, and scalability across React Native and Android environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain end-to-end release pipelines that move code from merge to production with minimal manual oversight across iOS and Android
- Drive automation forward by building one-click deployment and rollback workflows, with real-time status updates delivered to team channels
- Enhance observability by expanding telemetry, defining service-level alerts, and creating dashboards that reflect real-world app behavior—including offline scenarios
- Optimize CI/CD performance and stability—reduce build times, strengthen end-to-end testing, and integrate feature flag management into delivery workflows
- Empower engineering teams with reusable monitoring patterns, runbooks, and instrumentation standards that scale beyond specialists
- Manage mobile platform health: oversee React Native upgrades, dependency updates, certificate lifecycle, app store compliance, and mobile device management tooling
- Apply AI-powered tooling to automate repetitive tasks across release and distribution processes
- Support team growth through candidate interviews, referrals, and active participation in shaping engineering culture
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years shipping production-grade mobile applications with direct ownership of release and deployment systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working in fast-moving, product-driven environments
- Proven background improving CI/CD workflows and increasing deployment reliability with less manual effort
- Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or distributed tracing solutions
- Ability to diagnose production issues, define alerting strategies, and make monitoring accessible across teams
- Familiarity with Apple and Google developer ecosystems—including provisioning, certificates, store submissions, and compliance
- Experience in startups, scale-ups, or tech-first organizations where quality and uptime are critical
- A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a track record of solving complex, cross-functional challenges
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience with React Native in production settings
- Background managing fleets of enterprise or always-on mobile devices
- Experience adapting monitoring tools for edge or mobile environments with non-standard constraints

- Salary: $190,000–$220,000
