Own the foundation of a critical mobile platform that powers restaurant operations across the U.S. In this role, you'll take full responsibility for the systems that deliver mobile updates reliably and efficiently to thousands of live environments. Your work will directly impact how quickly and safely new features reach end users, and how well teams can monitor, debug, and improve performance across diverse conditions—including offline-first scenarios.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and evolution of mobile CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds are fast, repeatable, and resilient across iOS and Android
- Drive automation in release workflows—enabling one-click deployments and rollbacks with integrated status reporting
- Expand observability by implementing telemetry, crafting actionable dashboards, and defining alerting strategies that serve the entire engineering team
- Optimize testing infrastructure and reduce build times to accelerate developer velocity
- Ensure platform health through proactive dependency updates, certificate lifecycle management, and compliance with app store requirements
- Apply AI-powered tooling to scale automation across distribution and release processes
- Mentor and uplevel peers through hiring, knowledge sharing, and shaping engineering practices
Who We’re Looking For
You have deep experience shipping mobile applications in high-stakes environments where uptime and quality are non-negotiable. You’ve led improvements in release automation and monitoring systems, and you’re comfortable navigating the complexities of Apple and Google developer ecosystems. You care about making powerful tools accessible to all engineers—not just specialists.
- 4+ years of hands-on development and operational ownership of production mobile applications
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with React Native or native mobile platforms
- Proven work improving CI/CD reliability, build speed, and test stability
- Familiarity with observability platforms like Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar tooling
- Experience managing certificates, provisioning, MDM solutions, and app store compliance
- Background in startups or tech-driven companies with a strong product focus
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset for solving open-ended, cross-team challenges
Preferred Experience
- React Native production experience
- Work with managed device fleets or enterprise mobile deployments
- Instrumentation in edge or constrained environments where standard monitoring tools require customization

Compensation & Benefits
