Responsibilities
- Develop validation frameworks and runtime diagnostics tailored to media and codec operations
- Detect frequent misconfigurations, usage errors, and failure patterns in media processing pipelines and report them clearly
- Design intuitive error reporting, logging mechanisms, and traceability features to enable developers to troubleshoot independently
- Enhance visibility and diagnostic depth across intricate media and graphics processing chains
- Work closely with media, graphics, and support teams to identify common technical challenges and recurring issues
- Test diagnostic tools and validation systems using real-world applications, driver behaviors, and known issue reproductions
- Produce clear debugging guides, illustrative examples, and recommended troubleshooting practices for developers
- Track effectiveness by measuring reductions in bug reports, improvements in issue reporting quality, and faster resolution cycles
