ezCater is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Identity Management & Personalization team. In this remote-hybrid role, you will design, build, and maintain the foundational services that manage user identity, authentication, and authorization, ensuring secure platform access and data protection at scale.
What You'll Do
- Modernize our identity stack to enable building agentic features.
- Apply knowledge of distributed systems to build highly-scalable, fault-tolerant systems in a hybrid monolithic/microservices architecture.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers and business stakeholders to understand and meet customer needs.
- Drive projects that impact business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Improve performance at every opportunity.
- Build meaningful software with a collaborative team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with identity protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience designing and building large-scale systems.
- Extensive experience designing APIs and an understanding of API-first development.
- A desire to work on a backend-heavy platform team.
- An appetite for learning, experimentation, and relentless curiosity applied to product improvement.
- A friendly, flexible, and pragmatic disposition.
Nice to Have
- Fullstack experience on a product engineering team, ideally with Go or Ruby on Rails.
- Postgres experience.
- Interest in AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate development and improve product quality.
