DriveWhip is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to design and build scalable, reliable web application systems. You'll leverage deep Rust expertise to contribute to new product development, balance features with technical debt, and architect applications that apply ML to large data volumes.

What You'll Do

Build production-grade systems in Rust and contribute to the team's overall language maturity.
Contribute to new product development of complex in-browser applications, ensuring extensibility, scalability, and security.
Balance customer-facing features and technical debt cleanup to keep the software suite sustainable.
Architect and implement complex applications that apply ML techniques to large volumes of data.
Design systems that work together to deliver a good-performing, reliable application.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience spread across both frontend and backend programming.
Expertise in Rust.
Experience reading and understanding complex code and improving it.
Experience owning code quality through testing.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills working in a high growth environment.
A collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Curiosity and the ability to learn new things on the job.
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

Additional experience across Javascript, Typescript, and one of our other backend primary languages (Java/Scala/Python).
