What You'll Do
Take ownership of complex features from design through to deployment, ensuring robust, maintainable solutions within a full-stack TypeScript environment. Help define architectural direction for systems built on Node.js and React, and work closely with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to transform user workflows into efficient, scalable applications. Focus on improving system performance, reliability, and developer productivity across the engineering lifecycle.
Support team growth through meaningful code reviews and technical collaboration. Integrate AI-powered tools into development processes to streamline workflows and help establish best practices across the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong command of TypeScript, Node.js, and React in production environments
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Proven experience deploying and managing applications in AWS, especially ECS or comparable services
- Track record of leading features from concept to production
- Experience contributing to early-stage or new product development
- Practical use of AI tools in daily engineering tasks
- Strong independent problem-solving abilities and clear cross-functional communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in HIPAA-compliant healthcare systems or fintech
- Experience deploying AI/ML components in live environments
- Work history in fast-moving, product-focused or startup settings
- Familiarity with performance tuning and scalability strategies
