We are seeking: A passionate Software Engineer (m/w/d) for our development team in Darmstadt or Berlin (with remote portion). As a Software Engineer at [ui!], your focus will be on developing intelligent solutions for businesses and municipalities worldwide. You are the ideal candidate for our team if you bring passion for developing smart solutions and experience with modern cloud technologies. Writing simple and efficient code, as well as independently solving problems, are among your strengths. Who is [ui!]: At the center of our activities are data and AI-based solutions developed "as a Service" on the basis of our Open Urban Data Platform [ui!] UrbanPulse for cities, municipalities, municipal companies, and utility providers. Application areas include traffic, parking, environment, climate protection, street lighting, energy, and district management. Als Software Engineer bei [ui!] liegt Dein Fokus auf der Entwicklung von smarten Lösungen für Unternehmen und Kommunen auf der ganzen Welt. Du bist für unser Team genau der oder die Richtige, wenn Du Leidenschaft für die Entwicklung smarter Lösungen sowie Erfahrung mit modernen Cloud-Technologien mitbringst. Das Schreiben von einfachem und effizientem Code sowie selbstständiges Lösen von Problemen gehört zu Deinen Stärken.

Wer ist [ui!]:

Im Mittelpunkt unserer Aktivitäten stehen Daten- und KI-basierte Lösungen, die “as a Service” auf Basis unserer Offenen Urbanen Datenplattform [ui!] UrbanPulse für Städte, Gemeinden, kommunale Unternehmen sowie Ver- und Entsorger entwickelt wurden. Anwendungsbereiche sind u.a. Verkehr, Parken, Umwelt, Klimaschutz, Straßenbeleuchtung, Energie- und Quartiersmanagement.

Aufgaben

Was Dich bei [ui!] erwartet:

Scrum-basierte Softwareentwicklung in einem interdisziplinären Team.
Mitarbeit in abwechslungsreichen, anspruchsvollen Projekten im In- und Ausland - innerhalb der gesamten [ui!] Unternehmensgruppe.
Flexible Arbeitszeiten, Pausen und Home-Office-Tage
Unterstützung von erfahrenen Kollegen-Teams.

Qualifikation

Wir wünschen uns von Dir:

Professionelle Erfahrung mit ReactJS.
Erfahrung mit dem Schreiben automatisierter Tests.
Ein solides Verständnis von semantischem HTML, CSS und grundlegenden JavaScript-Konzepten.
Ein solides Verständnis der wichtigsten Web- und Browserkonzepte.
Erfahrung mit spezialisierten Frameworks wie React Native, Flutter und Node.js.
Du fühlst dich wohl in einem agilen, intensiv iterativen Softwareentwicklungsprozess.
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung und große Motivation dich bei uns weiterzuentwickeln und Verantwortung zu übernehmen
