About the Role
The role involves developing and maintaining high-performance routing systems that power decentralized exchange functionality, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and low-latency performance across diverse trading environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement routing algorithms for decentralized trading protocols
- Optimize trade execution paths across multiple liquidity sources
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate new trading models
- Maintain and scale core routing infrastructure
- Ensure system reliability under high-throughput conditions
- Debug complex on-chain and off-chain data discrepancies
- Improve latency and efficiency of quote generation services
- Monitor production systems and respond to incidents
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Support integration with external market makers and aggregators
- Contribute to security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Develop tools for internal and external developer use
- Analyze on-chain data to inform routing decisions
- Work closely with frontend teams to deliver accurate pricing data
- Maintain uptime and accuracy of public APIs
- Evaluate new blockchain networks for routing compatibility
- Implement circuit breakers and fail-safes for abnormal conditions
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Assist in defining roadmap priorities for routing improvements
- Stay current with advancements in DeFi and smart contract platforms
- Troubleshoot cross-network transaction issues
- Refactor legacy components for better performance
- Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to open-source projects related to routing
Nice to Have
- Experience with zero-knowledge proofs or privacy-preserving systems
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
- Prior work on decentralized exchange platforms
- Knowledge of MEV and arbitrage dynamics
- Familiarity with off-chain indexing solutions
- Experience with Rust or Go
