JumpCloud is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Database to join our team in India. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable, reliable database systems that form the foundation of our cloud platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize database systems for performance and scale
- Build and maintain robust database services and tooling
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define data persistence requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues in production
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for data handling
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience designing and operating database systems
- Strong proficiency in SQL and deep understanding of database internals
- Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and backup/recovery
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to engineering
Work Mode
This position follows a local-country work mode. You will be based in one of our office locations in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, or Pune, India.
