AuditBoard is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Analytics & Automation to lead large, strategic, and complex projects. In this remote role, you will leverage a high level of leadership to mentor other engineers, design and architect scalable solutions, and build new product features.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship product features end-to-end
- Write clear and well-defined design documentation
- Mentor fellow engineers
- Implement back-end APIs in Python and Node.JS
- Work on React and Ember SPAs
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
- Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code
- Be product-minded and think about the customer
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software bugs
- Contribute to open-source projects
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications
- Experience with a web framework such as Django or Rails
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Ember, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Experience writing REST / JSON APIs
- Experience writing software tests
- Ability to solve technical problems independently
- Motivation to work hard and always be learning
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform
- Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript
- Experience with React or Ember.JS
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
- Experience working on SaaS web applications
- Docker or Kubernetes experience
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
