Join aroundhome as a Senior Software Engineer to improve customer-to-partner matching flows and drive digital transformation. You will bring a product mindset, leverage AI tools to work fullstack, and play a key role in the Matching Team.
What You'll Do
- Take technical ownership of features, driving initiatives from discovery to delivery.
- Shape requirements and define success metrics alongside Product Manager and UX counterparts.
- Use AI Agents and tooling to navigate, debug, test, and deploy changes to Backend services.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to improve the core matching process.
- Utilize lean methods to deliver value quickly and iterate based on real-world data.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6).
- Proficient in React.js, Next.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- Proficient in using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to unblock yourself and maximize efficiency.
- Technical foundation to understand, debug, and contribute to Backend services.
- Product mindset; understand business metrics and view code as a means to solve customer problems.
- Comfortable negotiating scope and explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player who strives for collaboration, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Team & Environment
You will join the Matching Team, reporting to the Team Lead. The team consists of four other Engineers, a Team Lead, Product Manager, Agile Coach, and UX Designer.
