Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop software solutions for financial institutions. In this role, you will focus on supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs (Central Securities Depositories) developments, applying your technical expertise and analytical skills within a structured development life cycle.

What You'll Do

Support WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments.
Work with software development methodology, design, and lifecycles.
Understand the context for source code, the source codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
Communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
Solve problems and analyze requirements.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
In the absence of a degree, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years.
7 years of experience in Software Development for Financial Institutions.
Knowledge of software development methodology, design, and lifecycles.
Experience supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments.
Strong experience with Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML, and Linux.
Strong ability to understand context for source code and its relation to business objectives.
Ability to work both independently and on a team.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning such as Jira.

Nice to Have

Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices.
Experience with continuous build and integration using Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Liquibase, Junit.
Behaviour-driven testing and test automation using the cucumber framework.
Experience with GitHub or another source code repository.
Knowledge of English.
