Glean is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain the Acquia DAM and PIM product line, a critical platform trusted by over 800 customers. You will be responsible for writing clean, testable code, enabling continuous delivery, and ensuring operational excellence for these core services.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers based in the US and India, requiring availability during US CST and PST time zones.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Design and develop unit and automated tests to enable deployment to production multiple times per day.
- Participate in team code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Support and maintain services to ensure uptime via an on-call schedule.
- Understand the 'why' behind the 'what' to solve real customer problems.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Expertise with Java and familiarity with React/Typescript.
- Expertise in writing and consuming REST APIs in a containerized microservice ecosystem.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, Kinesis, SQS, SNS).
- Intermediate SQL expertise & hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Opensearch, DynamoDB).
- Working knowledge of using AI to enhance development (e.g., prompt engineering, MCP Servers).
- Experience with Git.
- Experience writing unit and automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on a US-India collaborative development team.
- Experience implementing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
- Experience managing applications in a Kubernetes environment.
- Experience working with Gradle.
