Budgetly is hiring a Senior Software Architect - AWS

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy and technical vision across cloud infrastructure, security, reliability, data systems, and artificial intelligence platforms on AWS
• Design, evolve, and maintain the core platform while actively participating in feature implementation
• Make and govern key architecture decisions in DevSecOps, platform resilience, data infrastructure, and AI systems
• Integrate security-first principles into platform development, including IAM policies, cloud security frameworks, and secure coding practices
• Define and enforce engineering standards for scalability, fault tolerance, and system reliability
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and implement data lake solutions and analytics capabilities
• Develop and manage AI infrastructure, including integration of models and agents, secure data pipelines, and platform-wide AI safety controls
• Engage directly in coding for product features and system enhancements
• Identify and address technical debt through targeted refactoring and system improvements
