Fidelity is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to automate the Software Development Lifecycle by hosting applications in Cloud infrastructure and maintaining an API Platform and iOS mobile applications. You will build CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure as code for scalable, distributed systems.
What You'll Do
- Automate the Software Development Lifecycle by hosting in a Cloud infrastructure, managing deployments through CI/CD, and maintaining the API Platform and iOS mobile applications.
- Integrate monitoring and logging services using Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery to Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) clusters for the API Platform.
- Build Docker images and set up custom Kubernetes frameworks to integrate with different clusters and environments.
- Write custom IAM templates for RBAC and create Terraform and CloudFormation scripts for Infrastructure as Code.
- Create, maintain, and automate CI/CD for mobile applications to go through different code scanners to ensure reliability before releasing to the AppStore.
- Build, automate, and maintain large-scale, highly distributed systems infrastructure to host applications in multi-environment and multi-cluster setups.
- Monitor and log systems to ensure cluster-level metrics and reliability.
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor its functioning to ensure specifications are met.
- Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Mediate cross-team functionality for integration and support.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer designing and implementing scalable Cloud-based solutions, delivering software applications, and processing workloads in AWS environments.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in the same domain.
- Demonstrated Expertise designing and automating scalable and secure AWS infrastructure Cloud architectures to build end-to-end, 3-tier Web and API applications, using Cloud Designer and IaC tools (Terraform and CloudFormation); and creating robust architectures using AWS services like Load Balancers, API Gateway, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, and EKS.
- Demonstrated Expertise developing CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines to automate business use cases; deploying containerized microservices applications to EKS clusters; creating pipelines to provision databases, run migrations, and update schemas in Postgres RDS; and automating RBAC and AWS IAM for least privilege access.
- Demonstrated Expertise monitoring and logging microservices applications in EKS clusters using Datadog for Root Cause Analysis; upgrading tools using Helm charts; maintaining SSL certificates using Venafi; patching infrastructure with Shell scripting and AWS Systems Manager; and maintaining project repositories using Service-Now.
- Demonstrated Expertise configuring custom MacOS Jenkins agents to automate build, test, and deploy pipelines for iOS; and designing a systematic release process using Xcode, Fastlane, Jenkins, Vault, and SonarQube for efficient and compliant delivery to the App Store.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $127,450.00 - $141,000.00/year
