Shape the backbone of a growing platform
We need a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help scale and secure our infrastructure as we expand. You’ll take ownership of critical systems that power our real estate technology, ensuring reliability, performance, and resilience across services.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable solutions for complex engineering challenges across distributed systems
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, ensuring security and efficiency
- Lead the evolution of our Kubernetes environment, including cluster management and team enablement
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in partnership with quality and engineering teams
- Build self-service infrastructure tools using Terraform and automation frameworks
- Own observability systems—monitoring, logging, and alerting—and drive best practices across engineering
- Strengthen incident response and disaster recovery protocols through active participation and refinement
What We’re Looking For
- BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related technical field
- At least 5 years in a dedicated SRE or infrastructure engineering role
- Proven experience running production systems on AWS or GCP, with a willingness to work across both
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes—deployment, scaling, orchestration, and team enablement
- Hands-on coding experience in Python, Golang, or Rust to solve operational challenges
- Track record of building automation tools that improve team velocity and system reliability
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to analyze performance across service, database, and infrastructure layers
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Working with event-driven architectures using Kafka, NATS, or Aeron
- Background in both monolithic and microservices environments
- Experience hardening systems using security frameworks and compliance tools
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch management and scaling
- Understanding of diverse database architectures and trade-offs
Work Environment
This role is open to remote candidates or those near our NYC office, where hybrid work requires three days per week on-site. You’ll work in a technically rigorous culture focused on empowering teams through stable, observable, and adaptable systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $170,000–$230,000 per year
- Equity offered as part of total compensation
