About the Role

Responsibilities

- Identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks across infrastructure and applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
- Respond to security incidents and lead post-incident reviews
- Conduct threat modeling for critical services and features
- Support compliance efforts with industry standards and regulations
- Evaluate third-party vendors for security posture
- Drive adoption of secure coding practices
- Monitor for emerging threats and adjust defenses accordingly
- Implement and manage security tooling and automation
- Provide security guidance during product design phases
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
- Advocate for privacy and data protection best practices
- Mentor engineers on security topics
- Stay current with evolving security technologies and attack vectors
- Assist in audit preparation and evidence collection
- Enforce secure configuration of cloud environments
- Improve logging and detection capabilities
- Work with legal and policy teams on data handling requirements

- Evaluate cryptographic implementations for correctness and strength
- Support secure deployment pipelines and CI/CD security
