Lime is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join as a foundational member of our Security Engineering team. You will contribute directly to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical systems and data, reporting to the Director of Security Engineering and playing a key role in building our corporate security program.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement security solutions across corporate infrastructure, focusing on endpoint security, detection engineering, network security, and cloud security (SaaS/IaaS).
- Conduct in-depth security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and proactively recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to incident response capabilities, including developing playbooks, investigating incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into system designs and configurations.
- Help develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Enhance detective capabilities by improving security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Drive automation of security tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a security-aware culture and provide technical guidance.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated security engineering role, with a strong focus on corporate or enterprise security.
- Expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
- Expertise in network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation).
- Expertise in cloud security best practices (SaaS, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies.
- Expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a lean, highly collaborative team, comfortable with remote work.
- Experience or comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to staying current with the latest security trends and technologies.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, OSCP, or similar.
