Responsibilities
- Help advance the organization's security capabilities.
- Work with a product team to manage a security platform, primarily within the Microsoft Defender ecosystem.
- Play a key role in operating, designing, developing, and delivering security capabilities so that operational security teams and business stakeholders can effectively defend against current cyber threats.
- Ensure modernization, operational readiness, and long-term service ownership while connecting technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC), and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Collaborate closely with other security teams and stakeholders on Threat Protection and Incident Response to strengthen Cyber Security, Zero Trust, and Security Architecture across the organization.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft Defender ecosystem, Microsoft Entra ID, and Sentinel.
- Understanding of Cloud Security principles, including Azure Security with a secure-by-design mindset.
- Proven background in Platform Engineering, Security Architecture, Governance, and Zero Trust initiatives.
- Ability to bridge technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC), and business needs, translating requirements into scalable solutions for Threat Protection and Incident Response.
- A proactive approach to operational readiness and long-term service ownership within the Cyber Security area.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and experience coaching junior colleagues.
- Understanding that delivering security capabilities involves not only technology but also processes and people.
