Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and take full responsibility for the growth and well-being of fellow engineers
- Directly collaborate with other Product Squads and Clinical teams to translate medical needs into seamless digital experiences
- Manage multiple projects including white-label mobile apps, web applications, and core React Native mobile apps
- Shape the engineering culture by mentoring and disciplinarily leading the team while remaining hands-on with code
- Own the technical roadmap of the application and make pragmatic decisions on product evolution
- Actively use LLMs for coding and spearhead development of a multi-agent environment to increase team efficiency
- Work directly with Rehabilitation and Prevention experts to translate medical expertise into intuitive mobile experiences
- Ensure frontend is user-friendly and a benchmark for digital health accessibility
- Define processes and introduce best practices to keep development at the cutting edge
Requirements
- Strong 'can-do' attitude and growth mindset
- Extensive experience in mobile application development within the React Native ecosystem
- Proven track record of mentoring or leading engineering teams
- Highly experienced in Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for mobile applications
- Actively use LLMs in daily coding workflows
- Expertise in modern JS frameworks with years of experience in both web/frontend and mobile development
- Strong interest in backend technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress
- Deep understanding of state management frameworks like RxJS or Redux
- Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop pragmatic solutions that deliver tangible value to patients
