Moog is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to plan and execute quality processes that meet contractual requirements and protect both the company and its customers. You'll have a measurable impact on business performance by promoting the highest standards of quality for complex hardware.

What You'll Do

Be responsible for quality success on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and driving crucial quality-related decisions for customers.
Lead Moog support of Customer & Government (DCMA) inspections, customer audits, and requirements.
Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
Facilitate cross-functional teams through problem-solving activities including failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, and traceability.
Teach Quality personnel on the process of reviewing and preparing End Item Data packs for customer source inspections or shipment.
Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection.
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective action.
Improve cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent STEM.
8 years of professional work experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.
5 years of experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software packages.
