Scotiabank is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to play a critical role in our regulatory compliance efforts. You will be responsible for scrutinizing and evaluating FINTRAC regulatory reporting, with a focus on governance, oversight, and quality assurance within a purpose-driven and high-performing culture.
What You'll Do
- Provide senior management with consistent, consolidated, annotated reporting on AML regulatory reporting to FINTRAC.
- Focus on reporting specific to Canadian legislation, with particular emphasis on Large Cash Transaction Reports (LCTR), Electronic Funds Transfer Reports (EFTR), and Terrorist Property Reports (TPR).
- Function independently, guided by Bank policy, while ensuring management is kept informed.
- Escalate problems and issues appropriately.
