Join F5 as a Senior QA Engineer, Distributed Cloud. You’ll be part of the team building F5’s next-generation cloud-native application delivery controller (ADC)-as-a-Service platform. This role involves shaping core infrastructure, working across Customer Edge and Regional Edge deployments, and developing observability, security, and automation features for a high-performance, programmable platform at a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance strategies for product quality and reliability.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust testing framework, including functional, performance, and security testing, with a strong emphasis on automation as the first choice.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Significant experience in quality assurance, including the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or JUnit, with a focus on automation as the primary approach.
- Strong expertise in testing for scale and performance to ensure the system can handle high loads and perform efficiently.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- BS/BA or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Compensation: $130,422.00 - $195,632.00
