About the Role

The role involves leading test automation initiatives, developing robust frameworks, and collaborating with development teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, report, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
• Ensure test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring quality issues
• Optimize test execution speed and reliability
• Maintain detailed test documentation
• Conduct code reviews for test automation artifacts
• Support release validation and regression testing
• Monitor production behavior for quality trends
• Advocate for quality best practices across teams
• Evaluate and introduce new testing tools and technologies
• Contribute to test planning and strategy sessions
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Improve test data management processes
• Work in agile development cycles
• Provide input on user experience and usability
• Assist in performance and load testing efforts
• Validate APIs and backend services
• Ensure mobile and web application consistency
• Support cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives
• Mentor junior QA engineers
