BioPak is hiring a Senior Python Django Developer to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. This role works within a multinational team to build and support successful software products.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications using Python and Django
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior developers
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of server-side logic
- Conduct thorough testing including unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests
- Debug and resolve complex issues as they arise
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, identifying bottlenecks
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of Python Development Experience
- At least 2 to 3 years of solid experience with Django
- Excellent Communication Skills in English
- Strong attention to detail with ability to comment and test code during development
- Experience building successful, mid-level to enterprise-level software products
- Works well with a development team and fills gaps where needed
- Great prioritization and time management skills
- Agile workflow experience and familiarity with daily Scrum standups
- Can provide 3+ examples of successful, large scale product development
- Knowledgeable in popular Front-end languages and Frameworks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Strong Math Skills and a high level of comfort with mathematical equations
- Familiar with AWS server setups and containerization
- Familiar with popular Django libraries and experience integrating Excel/PDF print capabilities
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working with a multinational team
