Responsibilities

  • Manage financial aspects of various projects, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review project financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and review project invoices and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial training and support to project teams.
  • Review and approve project-related expenses.
  • Prepare and review project financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Review and approve project-related contracts and agreements.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for project bids and proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review project financial statements for external auditors.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for regulatory filings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project accounting, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Experience with financial software and systems.
