Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, is looking for a Senior Program Management Specialist (AvOps). This senior engagement leader role supports the P&L organization within Boeing Global Services (BGS), focusing on building relationships, identifying customer opportunities, and executing strategic operational and technical solutions for aviation operators, airports, and maintenance providers worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Build relationships internally and externally, assess leads, identify opportunities, develop solutions including scope and pricing, win contracts, and execute to plan.
- Prospect to generate real opportunities, listen to understand customer needs, and successfully deliver services.
- Consult directly with aviation clients to provide advisory services for complex operations challenges.
- Serve as the leader of the aviation client engagement to ensure client goals and objectives are met.
- Provide motivation to the engagement team, lead and mentor project managers and team members, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead, drive, and promote all phases of customer engagement opportunities: Assessment, Analysis, Solution Creation, and Implementation.
- Lead communications with project stakeholders, both internally and externally, on program status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive program plans including timeline, deliverables, and resources.
- Monitor and communicate program financial status to practice leadership.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources and communicate impact to stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in Boeing's capabilities related to customer needs, then establish and develop external partnerships to fill those gaps.
- Communicate directly with Government/Regulatory agency leadership as needed.
- Support ABS leadership on special assignments.
- Travel, both domestically and internationally, to support projects and business activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 15 or more years' related work experience OR a Master's degree with 12 or more years' related work experience, OR equivalent combination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction while adhering to timeline and budget.
- Minimum 10 years airline/aerospace industry experience.
- 7-10 years in an aviation operations management role, ideally director, vice president, or above.
- Demonstrated understanding of industry regulations, primarily EASA and/or FAA.
- Must be a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.
Nice to Have
- Professional license, such as pilot or dispatcher.
- Prior management consulting experience.
- Data modeling and analytics experience.
- Experience working virtually and effectively using computer and communication tools.

Benefits & Compensation
- Summary pay range: $168,300 – $227,700.
- Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
